To me, this quote by Gilbert Amelio, emphasizes that having good communication skills is at the core of effective leadership. In his quote, he underlines that good communication skills are about conveying information with intention and direction clearly, otherwise their ability to lead effectively is compromised.
Agreed. When a leader conveys an information, it has to be clear. If not, he or she will not be able to exercise their command effectively.
